Frequently asked questions

What salary is used for GOSI?

This estimate uses monthly basic salary plus housing allowance, subject to the SAR 45,000 contributory-wage ceiling.

Why are there two Saudi employee rates?

Existing contributors generally retain the earlier pension rate, while the new law gradually increases the pension rate for qualifying first-time contributors from 3 July 2024.

Is occupational hazards deducted from the employee?

No. The standard 2% occupational-hazards contribution is included in the estimated employer share, not the employee deduction.

Are my salary figures stored?

No. The calculation runs locally in your browser and is not sent to a payroll database.
